A Mark of My Own (AMOMO) believes that the natural ability to create, interpret and appreciate art should be encouraged and nurtured. AMOMO provides a "safe" and non-competitive environment for all ages to share their crayon-colored dreams and to promote talents and potential in the arts. AMOMO has been offering award-winning art exhibits, camps and classes since 2001. It has been recognized by the Texas Recreation and Parks Society as an outstanding program. It was presented with the 2003 Lone Star State Programming Award and the 2004 National Recreation and Parks Southwest Regional Arts and Humanities Award.
